Patty Duke to Join San Francisco Wicked Cast

Starting March 24, Academy Award winning actress Patty Duke will replace Carol Kane as Madame Morrible in the San Francisco production of Wicked.

Patty Duke has won many awards.  In addition to her Oscar, she’s won three Emmy Awards, two Golden Globes and a People’s Choice Award. She’s also become a bestselling author with her two books, “Call Me Anna” and “A Brilliant Madness: Living with Manic Depression.”

Wicked San Francisco Reviews

Wicked Officially Leaves Chicago

After a hugely successful, nearly four year run, Wicked has officially left Chicago as of January 25, 2009.  The production’s closing allows resources, including cast members, to be used for the second national touring company of the show.

For anyone who may have missed the show in Chicago, all hope is not lost.  Midwesterners can still see the show in places like Appleton, WI, Omaha, NE, Indianapolis, IN, or Des Moines, IA.  Also, there have been rumors that Wicked will eventually stop in Chicago on tour again sometime in the future.
