Patty Duke

Starting March 24, Academy Award winning actress Patty Duke will replace Carol Kane as Madame Morrible in the San Francisco production of Wicked.

Patty Duke has won many awards.  In addition to her Oscar, she’s won three Emmy Awards, two Golden Globes and a People’s Choice Award. She’s also become a bestselling author with her two books, “Call Me Anna” and “A Brilliant Madness: Living with Manic Depression.”

Stefanie Brown

University of Arizona School of Theatre Arts graduate,  Stefanie Brown, has made her way onto the scenes of Broadway’s Wicked, as both an ensemble member and the stand-by for Glinda. Having graduated only 6 months ago, Brown credits The Showcase of Talent Program, offered by the university, for jump-starting her career and preparing her for this prestigious role.

Ms. Brown’s itinerary includes heading to New York for a costume fitting and rehearsing in Louisville, Kentucky, until she finally makes her debut onto Wicked’s opening show in Appleton, Wisconsin on February 10, 2009.

Starting January 16, 2009, Nicole Parker will replace Marcie Dodd as Elphaba in the New York production of Wicked at Gershwin Theater. Parker was previously a cast member of MadTV and has also appeared in Martin Short: Fame Becomes Me on Broadway. (more…)

A few cast members for the San Francisco production of Wicked have been announced.  They are Teal Wicks and Kendra Kassebaum, who will play, respectively, Elphaba (the green Wicked Witch of the West) and Glinda (the Good Witch of the North). (more…)

Donna Vivino has joined the national tour of Wicked.  She will play Elphaba starting November 5th at the Orpheum Theatre in Minneapolis.   (more…)
