Many places claim to have “discount” or “cheap” Wicked tickets, but when it comes down to it, the sites aren’t really offering any discounts.  We claim to have cheap Wicked tickets and we wanted to make sure that the prices we offer are actually cheaper than our competition – so we did a little research.  

We chose a random date (two days from today) and looked at the tickets for sale on our site.  The date we chose was January 14, 2009 and the seats were center orchestra seats, row J at Gershwin Theatre in New York.  We compared 10 sites that had the same seats for sale (many sites list the same inventory because they get it all through a Ticket Exchange).  We looked at the final prices, after service fees and shipping (we did the overnight shipping option because the date is two days from now), and here is what the final cost was for two tickets (center orchestra, row J at Gershwin Theatre in NY), after shipping and fees were applied:

• Ticketsnow (owned by Ticketmaster) – $579.25
• ReedsTickets – $570.10

• TicketLuck – $534.32
• Wickedticket.net – $532.00 (after our $10 promotion using promotion code “10off”)

So yes – you actually would pay $48 less if you bought the tickets from us as opposed to Tickco.  

It should also be noted that we tried to compare Stubhub’s prices as well, but we couldn’t see the final price after shipping and fees without providing a credit card number first.  The price before shipping and fees (for those particular seats), however, was $251 per ticket at Stubhub, compared with our $225 per ticket.  

So, if you’re looking for tickets to a sold out show that are actually cheaper, then we think you’ve found the right place.  We encourage you to look around and compare, but just make sure to bookmark us (Control + D) or (Command + D if you’re on a Mac) in case you can’t find anything cheaper!
